WAYNESBORO, Pa. (May 4, 2015) – The Waynesboro Medical Office Building is now open.
The facility, located at 601 E. Main St., includes many services:

The building was designed with patients in mind, including improved exam room design, elimination of congestion, one phone number for all services, and more, said Niki Showe, senior vice president of Physician Services for Summit Health.
“All of this adds up to a better experience for our patients – more services, convenient hours and location, greater access to care, and caring staff to help you every step of the way.”

Shady Grove Family Care & Walk-in Care
Patients of Shady Grove Family Care will also notice that the practice has a new name and address – Summit Primary Care & Walk-in.
Shady Grove Family Care has relocated to the Waynesboro Medical Office Building as of May 4 and is the last family care practice to be renamed as Summit Primary Care.
Summit Health began renaming family practices last summer to provide patients with more convenient service, Showe said.
“We know that residents live, work, and spend time in different areas of Franklin County, so we want our providers to be available wherever they are,” she said.
Walk-in care services will be available from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily at the Waynesboro Medical Office Building. No appointment is necessary.
Walk-in care centers treat illnesses and injuries like minor cuts, sprains, bee stings, ear infections, minor skin rashes, fevers, and sore throats.
Patients should go to the closest hospital emergency department if they have severe symptoms like difficulty breathing, chest pain, uncontrollable bleeding, severe pain, or fainting.
Summit Health is a non-profit network of hospitals and physician practices dedicated to building a healthier community.
As Franklin County's leading healthcare provider, Summit Health offers family care, specialists, lab and imaging services, a fitness center, urgent care centers, and two award-winning hospitals.
