Q: What led you to work in Cardiology?

Answer:  My critical care experience began in cardiovascular surgery, and Electrophysiology seemed to be a natural professional transition that would allow me the opportunity to integrate previous work experience with comprehensive medical therapies associated with EP.  It's exciting to offer and be in the forefront of technology shown to improve patient outcomes and quality of life.

Q: What drew you to begin practicing in the Franklin County area?

Answer:  My husband recently accepted a position with a local distribution center; as we explored different areas for relocation, we felt that the amenities and small town atmosphere, met our family needs.

Q: What would you say is a common misconception about Cardiology?

Answer: I think a common misconception of Cardiology is that the service only manages cardiac related patient concerns, when in fact; patient care is centered on healing an individual from a body, mind, and soul perspective.

Q: What are you most looking forward to about working in Franklin County?

Answer:  Because Franklin County is a smaller community than my hometown, I am looking forward to establishing relationships with patients that go beyond the typical patient-provider affiliation.

Q: What hobbies or interests do you enjoy outside of your career?

Answer:  I really enjoy walking, biking and ballroom dancing. Being from MI, my family and I are looking forward to the favorable weather and long bike rides.
