Meet Pamela Ross, Certified Physician Assistant
Pamela joined Summit Health more than five years ago and has spent 12 years working in Dermatology.
She is trained to treat skin conditions including eczema, psoriasis, urticaria, shingles, acne, warts, actinic keratoses (precancers), skin cancers including basal cell carcinoma, squamous cell carcinoma, and melanoma.
Also, she performs skin biopsies and excisions, and performs destruction of skin lesions by various methods such as cryotherapy, electrodessication or chemical methods.
“My favorite part of the job is serving the patients. I love to be able to help in any way I can. I especially like to find and treat skin cancer. If skin cancer is caught early, it is curable. I also enjoy teaching both patients and students about skin conditions.”
