Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine: At the age of 4, I met a homeless person with leprosy while I lived in Vietnam. I promised him one day I'll become a physician to help cure him. Although I never met the man again, I tried my best to come as close to fulfilling that promise as possible.
What I want my patients to know about me: I want my patients to know I'm here to treat them, and not just to treat an illness or two. And every decision I make in regards to their health, or everything I recommend, is consistent with what I would do for my own family member.
What I do when I’m not seeing patients: I enjoy spending time with my family and raising my children to become good members in society.
