Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine: As a young man, I was fascinated as to how machines worked. I realized that the human body is the most complicated "machine" in the world. After seeing many of my family members suffer from a variety of illnesses, I wanted to do my part and help other people avoid pain and suffering. In my eyes, patients who are unfortunately diagnosed with cancer suffer the most. If I can help even one patient be cured from cancer, then I have achieved my goal!
What patients should expect when they come to an appointment with me: I will take my time to listen to their concerns. I will do my best to be empathetic and caring to their needs. I will utilize all the resources available so that they receive high quality healthcare. My focus will be only on them!
What I do when I am not seeing patients: Spend quality time with my wife and 2 young children as well as my extended family. Enjoy traveling to various parts of the world, as well as watching sports including football and cricket.
