Q: What led you to work in primary care?
Answer: I previously worked at Chambersburg Hospital for 11 years and enjoyed taking care of patients, but I never saw them until they were having a health crisis. I was interested in the transition to primary care because it gave me the chance to care for patients during all stages of their health journeys.
Q: What drew you to begin practicing in the Franklin County area?
Answer: I was interested in continuing to work with local patients and already had established relationships in the community.
Q: What would you say is a common misconception about primary care?
Answer: There's a misconception that we can't handle certain issues or concerns in primary care. The reality is quite the opposite - we can see patients of all ages for a variety of wellness visits and health concerns.
Q: What are you most looking forward to about working in Franklin County?
Answer: I'm looking forward to building relationships with patients and their families.
Q: What hobbies or interests do you enjoy outside of your career?
Answer: I like to be outdoors and enjoy hiking. I also enjoy spending time with my family, especially my grandchildren, and being involved in my church.
