Q: What led you to work in Orthopedics?
Answer: Before becoming a Nurse Practitioner, I worked as a Registered Nurse at Chambersburg Hospital. Since 2008 I worked with orthopedics patients, so for me it was a natural fit.
Q: What drew you to begin practicing in the Franklin County area?
Answer: I am a Franklin County native. I graduated from Waynesboro Area Senior High School and now live in Chambersburg.
Q: What would you say is a common misconception about Orthopedics?
Answer: A lot of patients think surgery may be their only option to correct an on-going issue or after an injury, but often times there are many other options outside of surgery, such as physical therapy, that can be effective.
Q: What are you most looking forward to about working in Franklin County?
Answer: I look forward to continuing to serve this community and to continue to grow and learn as a professional in this role.
Q: What hobbies or interests do you enjoy outside of your career?
Answer: I love spending time outdoors, especially hiking and kayaking. I also enjoy playing volleyball.
