Why I chose to pursue a career in medicine: I decided that I wanted to be a physician at the age of 5 because I saw my own family physician providing compassionate care for my family. Helping families navigate the stages of life has become my passion, and I continue to be fascinated by the workings of the human body which keeps me engaged in always learning new things in medicine.
What patients should expect when they come to an appointment with me: Patients can expect a listening ear, evidence based medical advice, shared decision making, and tough love when needed.
What I do when I’m not seeing patients: As a Franklin county native, I love practicing medicine in my hometown and love the perk of spending time with my immediate and extended family as much as possible. I also enjoy traveling and bargain shopping.
