Q: What led you to work in primary care?
Answer: I was interested in working in primary care because, while people often think of it for when they are sick, primary care is such an important part of having good health. Primary care promotes staying healthy.
Q: What drew you to begin practicing in the Franklin County area?
Answer: I'm originally from the area and wanted to stay here so I could care for friends and neighbors.
Q: What would you say is a common misconception about primary care?
Answer: People don't always think of us for the care of their children, but we can care for them as newborns and do our best to help them grow into healthy adults.
Q: What are you most looking forward to about working in Franklin County?
Answer: I'm looking forward to a work-life balance doing something I'm passionate about here and being close to family.
Q: What hobbies or interests do you enjoy outside of your career?
Answer: I enjoy sewing, playing piano, and being an aunt. I also enjoy bicycling and while I was in my residency, cycled 1,000 miles to and from work.
