Representatives from Waynesboro Hospital, Summit Health and the Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon cutting Monday, March 20, to celebrate the relocation of Summit Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation from the back of the hospital to its new facility across the street at 500 E. Main St.

WAYNESBORO, Pa. – Summit Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation on Monday, March 20, moved from its previous location at the back of Waynesboro Hospital to an office across the street from the hospital at 500 E. Main St. To celebrate, representatives with Summit Health, Waynesboro Hospital, the practice, Waynesboro-area businesses and the Greater Waynesboro Chamber of Commerce held a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

The new location, previously the Waynesboro Medical Complex, has been fully renovated, with a larger gym and more individual rooms aimed at providing patients with increased space, comfort and improved privacy while undergoing therapy. In addition, the new location offers greater ease of access for patients with a parking lot that is closer to the facility’s entrance.
