CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Summit Orthopedic Group is pleased to announce Dr. Thomas Little has joined the practice.
No stranger to South Central Pennsylvania, Dr. Little has practiced in Adams County for the last 15 years, and completed both his residency and his orthopedic fellowship at Penn State Hershey Medical Center.
He says the opportunity to work with Summit Orthopedic Group drew him to practice in Franklin County.
“I saw what a vibrant practice it is and wanted to be a part of it,” he explained. “I’m excited to have the chance to work with so many nice people”
Dr. Little, who is board certified by the American Board of Orthopedic Surgery, specializes in shoulder joint replacements. He says his active lifestyle and dealing with his own injuries in the past has helped him better understand the perspectives of his patients.
“I’ve dealt with injuries and understand the frustrations that come along with those types of issues, and the eagerness to return to your normal lifestyle,” he explained. “I work with my patients to help them get back to full-function so they can get back to enjoying the activities they love.”
Outside of work Dr. Little enjoys running, cycling, and swimming. He also teaches Kinesiology at Gettysburg College.
Dr. Little is accepting new patients at the Summit Orthopedic Group – Shippensburg and Summit Orthopedic Group Chambersburg Locations. For more information on scheduling an appointment, please call 717-263-1220.
