Waynesboro practices welcome new CRNP
WAYNESBORO, Pa. – Jennifer Hutsler, CRNP, has joined the teams at Summit Gastroenterology and Summit Surgical Group – Waynesboro.
A native of Chambersburg, Hutsler knew she wanted to work in health care since high school and was excited to stay in the area – a place that both she and her patients call home.
“Franklin County is home to me and Summit Health has been home to me,” she said. “It can be an asset to patients, too, when their provider is from the area because then I can relate to them. I’m a friendly, familiar face.”
Hutsler spent numerous years as a nurse at Chambersburg Hospital before returning to continue her education. She received her Master’s degree in Nursing/Family Nurse Practitioner from Penn State – University Park and is certified through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
She is a member of the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, Pennsylvania State Nurses Association, and the Pennsylvania Coalition for Nurse Practitioners.
Outside of work, Hutsler enjoys spending time with her teenage daughter seeing Broadway shows in New York City, attending Penn State football games and other sporting events as well as shopping, music, theater, and the arts.
