CARLISLE, Pa. – A Summit Health expansion means a homecoming for two employees and convenient care for patients in Cumberland County.
Summit Endocrinology is now seeing patients at a new Carlisle office. Tracey Wiley, certified registered nurse practitioner, and Melissa Benzon, registered dietitian and certified diabetes educator, who both left the Carlisle area to join the Summit Health family, will see patients at the new location.
“It will be wonderful to treat the patients we’ve been seeing for many years closer to their homes,” said Wiley.
Wiley provides care for diabetes management while Benzon sees patients for diabetic self-management training and medical-nutrition therapy. Other services include continuous glucose monitoring and insulin pump management and education. The Carlisle practice is an American Diabetes Association-recognized center that provides the highest-quality diabetes care and education to patients.
Wiley and Benzon started Summit Endocrinology in 2010 after coming to Summit Health.
“Most of our patients stuck with us through the transition, and we thank them for that,” said Benzon. “Now, it is our turn to travel to them and anyone in the Carlisle community who could use our services.”
The office is open from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Mondays and is located in Suite 3 of the Live Oak Professional Center, 354 Alexander Spring Road.
