CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Summit Health will be hosting a roundtable discussion focused on helping local employers understand how to track and utilize health insurance claims data to build targeted and affordable employee wellness programs.

The free event will be held Wednesday, March 1, at the Chambersburg Hospital Lecture Center at 112 North 7th St. Networking and breakfast will begin at 7:30 a.m. with presentations and panel discussion to follow at 8 a.m.

The presentations will be led by USI Insurance Services, a company that provides insurance brokerage and consulting services to clients across the United States.

“Employers are looking for ways to fully use available data to effect change,” explained Summit Health’s Employer Relations Specialist Jamie Goetz. “There is a wealth of data that exists to track cost trends, benchmark utilization, identify outliers, and uncover savings opportunities, and our goal is to show employers how to use it effectively.”

This roundtable is the latest in an ongoing series hosted by Summit Health’s Wellness at Work program, which educates employers on health information and offers preventive screenings and wellness education for employees.
