: Seven area students who were honored as recipients of scholarship awards from the Chambersburg Area Hospital Auxiliary

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Seven area students, who plan to pursue or are pursuing health care careers, were honored June 2 as the recipients of $1,000 scholarship awards from the Chambersburg Area Hospital Auxiliary.

Whitney Singhas, of Greencastle, is a member of the Greencastle-Antrim class of 2015.  She plans to attend Millersville University where she will major in biology.  She plans to earn a degree in Medicine, specializing in Trauma Surgery.

Katelyn Killinger, of Shippensburg, is a member of the Shippensburg Area Senior High School class of 2015.  She plans to attend Penn State - Mont Alto where she will pursue a degree in Nursing.

Andrea Crider, of Chambersburg, is a member of the Greencastle-Antrim class of 2015.  She plans to attend Penn State - Mont Alto and will pursue a degree in Occupational Therapy.

Kasey Ebersole, of Greencastle, is a member of the Shalom Christian Academy class of 2015.  She will attend Harrisburg Area Community College this fall, where she plans to study Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

Jennifer Morrissette, of Chambersburg, is a member of the Chambersburg Area Senior High School class of 2015.  She plans to attend York College where she will study Nursing.

Ashlyn Warren, of Shippensburg, attends York College where she is majoring in Psychology. She just completed her freshman year earning a 3.8 GPA.

Heather Corl, of Mercersburg, attends Penn State - Mont Alto where she is studying to be a Registered Nurse.  She is currently employed at Summit Primary Care where she has provided 15 years of dedicated service to the practice and the patients.
