CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Community members interested in pursuing a nursing career are encouraged to attend a free seminar, "Pathways to a Nursing Career" being held Tuesday, April 25 from 6:45 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. at the Lecture Center of Chambersburg Hospital.
"A career in nursing is so rewarding for so many reasons," explained Angela Austin, Education Resource Specialist for Summit Health. "While we find many students have an interest in pursuing nursing, they don't always know the best steps to take. We are thrilled to have the opportunity to interact with community members looking to make nursing a career and to help guide them towards their goals."
The seminar will offer attendees information on the various types of nursing careers, advice on what type of education to pursue, and an opportunity to ask questions to a panel of experts.
Students and their parents, as well as adults looking to redirect their careers are encouraged to attend.
Anyone interested in attending the seminar is asked to register by Thursday, April 20 by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org or by calling (717) 709-4755.
