CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - During the week of December 19 through December 24, The Orchards Restaurant, 1580 Orchard Drive, will donate 10 percent of their proceeds to Chambersburg Hospital, an affiliate of Summit Health.

“We do a 10 percent week to benefit Chambersburg Hospital twice a year,” said Orchards owner, Michael Kalathas. “Every entrée that someone orders during those weeks, Monday to Sunday, goes to the hospital.  It’s a way that we help the community and give back to those who support our business through the year.”

Through its 10 Percent Week events, which began in 2009 with a gift to support cardiology services, The Orchards Restaurant is a member of the hospital’s 1895 Club for giving, and has donated more than $35,000 to Chambersburg Hospital and its affiliates to support health care services in the Franklin County area.
