CHAMBERSBURG, Pa – During the week of October 10 through October 16, The Orchards Restaurant, 1580 Orchard Drive, will be giving back to the community. The restaurant will donate 10 percent of all sales to underwrite free cancer-specific cookbooks for patients served by the Rhonda Brake Shreiner Women’s Center.
The Rhonda Brake Shreiner Women’s Center offers convenient access to a wide range of breast health and imaging resources including leading-edge breast cancer screening, diagnosis and treatment.
The Center also offers a Certified Breast Health Patient Navigator, who will guide patients through their next steps of care. She helps them better understand testing, procedures and possible treatments, as well as provides emotional support and education.
In addition to its ongoing annual support during Breast Cancer Awareness Month in October, The Orchards Restaurant has supported other Summit Health services and programs for years. For more information about the 10 percent week event or for reservations, call The Orchards Restaurant at (717) 264-4711.
