FAYETTEVILLE, Pa. – Runners and walkers of all ages and fitness levels are invited to get “splashed” at the most colorful race in the area this May.
Summit Health and the 11/30 Network of Franklin County on Saturday, May 13, will host the fourth annual Splash Your Sole 5k at Norlo Park, 3050 Lincoln Way East.
Held rain or shine, participants will weave through Norlo Park, getting covered in a rainbow of colors at four stations spaced throughout the course. The color is nontoxic and safe for participants and the environment.
The fun, untimed run will have heats at 8 and 9 a.m. Participants can preregister for the 5k online or register in person the day of the event. The cost is $20 if registered prior to April 15 or $30 after. Registration fee includes a T-shirt and goody bag. Children younger than 10 may participate for free, but will not receive a T-shirt. T-shirts are limited so, preregistration is advised.
Proceeds from this year’s event will benefit Antrim Township Park in Greencastle.
