CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. (July 18, 2016) – A local chapter of the Beta Sigma Phi sorority has donated money to support local patients.

The group donated $200 to the Oncology Bridge Fund, which helps cancer patients cover their living and travel expenses while undergoing treatment, and $100 to the Chambersburg Hospital Newborn Intensive Care Unit.

“We are so grateful this vibrant group of woman chose our patients to benefit from their fundraising efforts,” said Summit Health Donor Relations and Annual Giving Officer Beth Stephey. “We feel so fortunate that the members of our community understand the needs some of our patients face, and have been so generous in their efforts to help them meet those needs.
