CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - A free seminar, “Steps to a Healthcare Career,” will be held by Summit Health from 6:45 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday, Nov. 7, at the Chambersburg Hospital Lecture Center, 112 N. Seventh St.
The seminar is designed for seventh- to 12th-grade students and their parents or guardians. Attendees will discover the benefits of a career in healthcare; find out which classes should be taken in high school, get advice on choosing a college; and learn financial aid tips.
The seminar, led by Summit Health’s School Liaison Programs, supports guidance counselors, teachers and community members in providing career advice and exploration experiences to students of all ages.
