CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Summit Health will be offering a Get Fit Kids program beginning January 29 from 6 to 7:30 in the Family Life Center at The Presbyterian Church of Falling Spring, 221 N. Main Street, Chambersburg.

Get Fit Kids is a weight management program designed to help families with overweight youth ages 8 to 14 develop healthy lifestyle skills and achieve weight management.

This 8-week program helps kids to learn how to:

  • Live a healthier and active lifestyle
  • Choose healthy foods
  • Feel good about themselves

In each class, youth and their family members will spend time with a registered dietician and an exercise specialist.

Get Fit Kids attendees will also get to sample a healthy snack based on the nutritional lesson highlighted during class.

The enrollment fee is $10. Pre-registration is required. Call (717) 267-7960 to register.

Each child must attend with a parent or guardian. No physician referral or health insurance is required.
