CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Franklin FamilyPractice for more than a decade has cared for patients young and old in the Chambersburg community. On June 20, the practice will close its doors in preparation to move and become part of Summit Primary Care – 8th Street.

Dr. William A. Kramer and Dr. Ernest E. Charlesworth will join Dr. Samuel Q. Bricker and David E. Newlin, PA-C, in seeing patients at Summit Primary Care, 144 S. 8th St., Suite 111, on Monday, July 3.

“We wanted to become part of Summit Health because of its reputation for excellence and the priority that is placed on the care of patients,” explained Dr. Charlesworth. “We are excited to continue providing care to our patients and the community as part of Summit Primary Care.”

The practice sees both adult and pediatric patients. It encourages community members to schedule appointments for regular well visits, to help them maintain healthy lifestyles and for preventive care.

“We have been honored to be the medical home for so many for 20-plus years and will strive to continue to be the doctors patients rely on for their health needs,” said Dr. Charlesworth.
