CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. - Eight children with asthma participated in Camp Super Lungs, hosted by Summit Health and the Cumberland Valley Asthma Alliance.
At the camp, participants were taught how to manage their asthma effectively while participating in fun and exciting activities. The free, one-day camp was open to children ages 6-12.
At the conclusion of the day, parents were invited to an "ask the expert" education session with a respiratory therapist.
The event was held from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m. at St. Paul United Methodist Church.
