CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Recent efforts by Chambersburg Hospital staff and members of the Chambersburg Area Hospital Auxiliary may make the holiday season a bit warmer for local families.
The staff and auxiliary members held a three-day clothing drive for the CASHS Clothing Closet. This project provides clothing to less fortunate students and their families in the Chambersburg Area School District.
More than 40 bags full of clothing were collected and donated.
“We were able to fill up two vans full of donations to help benefit local families,” explained Chambersburg Hospital Chief Operating Officer, John Massimilla. “To see our staff and members of the Chambersburg Area Hospital Auxiliary draw such support for such an excellent cause shows their care and dedication to the Chambersburg community.”
