WAYNESBORO, Pa. – Each year, the Waynesboro Hospital Auxiliary works to raise funds that will benefit hospital patients by purchasing items that will make their time being cared for an even better experience.

This year, the auxiliary plans to purchase three new Stryker Cub Pediatric cribs for the hospital’s Medical-Surgical Department. The cribs will enhance the experience for the hospital’s youngest patients and their families, providing greater comfort, technology and ease of access from caregiver to patient from all sides of the crib.

To help fund these additions, Waynesboro Hospital Auxiliary on Sunday, April 2, will host a “Bags & Bucks Bingo” at Waynesboro Ambulance Squad, 603 W. Main St. The bingo will feature 26 regular games, four special games, speedys and raffles.

Doors open at 11:30 a.m. with lunch served at noon. Bingo will start at 1 p.m.

Tickets cost $25 each and include games, lunch and dessert. No one younger than 18 may enter without a ticket and they must be accompanied by a paying adult.

Tickets may be purchased at the hospital gift shop or by calling (717) 762-1915 or the hospital switchboard at (717) 762-4000.
