CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, heart disease is the leading cause of death for men and women in the U.S. Cardiologist Dr. Arshad Safi will discuss the risk factors for heart disease at a free community seminar next month.
The community seminar, “No one wants a broken heart, know your risk for heart disease,” will be held Thurs., Feb. 18 from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. at Wilson College’s Brooks Complex Auditorium in Chambersburg.
“Reducing your risk for heart disease is all about making healthy lifestyle choices,” Dr. Safi said. “At the seminar, I hope to provide you with some facts that will encourage you to make those better choices, including improving your diet, increasing physical activity, and reducing alcohol use.”
