CHAMBERSBURG, Pa – During the week of October 11 through 17, The Orchards Restaurant, 1580 Orchard Drive, Chambersburg, will donate 10 percent of all sales to the Rhonda Brake Shreiner Women’s Center, an affiliate of Summit Health, to underwrite free cancer-specific cookbooks for cancer patients.

The Rhonda Brake Shreiner Women’s Center, 12 St. Paul Dr., Chambersburg, offers leading-edge breast cancer screening, diagnosis, and treatment services through personalized care provided by expert staff and physicians. The Center is nationally recognized as a “Breast Imaging Center of Excellence” by the AmericanCollege of Radiology. 

Newly diagnosed breast cancer patients at Rhonda Brake Shreiner Women’s Center receive cancer treatment information and materials including the cookbook. This is the seventh year the popular local restaurant has provided support for the cookbooks for cancer patients.                                                                                                                      

The Orchards Restaurant is a member of the Chambersburg Hospital 1895 Club and has donated more than $32,000 to Chambersburg Hospital to support health care services in the Franklin County area.  For more information about the 10 percent week event or for reservations, call The Orchards Restaurant at (717) 264-4711.
