CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Patients at Chambersburg Family Care will notice that as of July 1 the practice has a new name – Summit Primary Care.

The practice, located at Summit Health Center – Building 2, 757 Norland Ave., Suite 203, is the first of the Summit Health family care practices to be renamed as Summit Primary Care.

According to Niki Showe, vice president for physician practices at Summit Health, the goal is to provide patients with more convenient service.

“We know that residents live, work, and spend time in different areas of Franklin County, so we want our providers to be available wherever they are,” Showe said.

With that convenience in mind, Summit Primary Care has also established two new practices.

Fairway Medical Associates, 144 S. 8th St. #111, Chambersburg, has joined Summit Health as the second Summit Primary Care practice.

Summit Primary Care has also opened a Menno Haven location at the Menno Haven campus. This third location is only available to residents on the three campuses – Menno Village, Penn Hall, and Northfield – at this time.

Throughout the rest of the year, all remaining family care practices will be renamed as Summit Primary Care.
