Summit Endocrinology welcomes new doctor
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Dr. Tiffany Morton has joined Summit Endocrinology, an affiliate of Summit Health, located in Summit Health Center – Building 2, 757 Norland Ave., Suite 210, Chambersburg.
Morton most recently completed her fellowship in endocrinology at the University of North Carolina Hospital in Chapel Hill. Previously, she completed her internal medicine residency at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore.
Ready to hit the ground running, Morton said it is nice to be out of training and exciting to begin seeing patients in Franklin County.
“I love building that relationship with my patients, really getting to know them,” she said. “Endocrinology might be a specialty, but I have the chance to see my patients more regularly and establish that relationship.”
With an interest in thyroid problems and diabetes treatments, Morton hopes to help patients accurately understand the wide-ranging issues and symptoms associated with the disorders, especially thyroid problems.
“It’s important to me to find the best ways possible to help patients not only understand their disorders, but also develop effective treatments,” she said.
Outside of work, Morton enjoys running, reading a variety of books, spending time at the beach and is learning to speak French.
Doctors with Summit Endocrinology specialize in treatment for diabetes, digestive disorders, thyroid disorders, thyroid cancer management, osteoporosis, cholesterol disorders, adrenal gland disorders, pituitary gland disorders, menstrual disorders, nutrition disorders, and testosterone disorders.
