CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – The Roy A. Himelfarb Surgery Center was recently awarded a three-year accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care, or AAAHC.

“Pursuing accreditation shows our commitment to providing the highest levels of quality care to our patients, and the same high level of quality in our business practices,” said Director Elizabeth Diehl.

“We are proud to have met the challenge of accreditation and intend to consistently uphold the principles of quality improvement in patient care in the future.”

Accreditation with AAAHC is received through an external independent review process, which looks at the center’s policies, procedures, processes, and outcomes.

Throughout the three-year accreditation, the Roy A. Himelfarb Surgery Center will participate in on-going self-evaluation, on-site surveys, peer review, and education.

The Roy A. Himelfarb Surgery Center is located in Summit Health Center – Building 2 at 757 Norland Ave., Suite 100, Chambersburg.
