FRANKLIN COUNTY, Pa. – Nurse Practitioner Kyline Keefer has joined the providers at Antrim Family & Walk-in Care and Shippensburg Family & Walk-in Care, both affiliates of Summit Health.

A Shippensburg native, Keefer and her sister motivated each other to pursue medicine and continue their schooling throughout the years. She most recently received her nurse practitioner certification in 2013 from Pennsylvania State University.

She has worked in nursing homes and rehabilitation centers in addition to Chambersburg Hospital’s Catheterization Lab and Intensive Care Unit.

“I’m a very rooted person and I love this area,” Keefer said. “Additionally, I love people. I really do believe that when you care and love people, it’s a service. That’s what I get to do every day. I want patients to feel like they are cared for and that they’re a person, not a number waiting to be seen.”

Outside of work, Keefer enjoys spending time with her family, being involved with her church, learning German for her niece’s upcoming destination wedding, and riding motorcycles – she once rode with her husband from Montana to Alaska.
