Healthcare career seminar to be held in November

CHAMBERSBURG, Pa - A free seminar titled, "Steps to a Healthcare Career" will take place on November 12, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. at the Chambersburg Hospital Lecture Center, 112 N. Seventh Street, Chambersburg. Call (717) 709-4755 to register by November 11.
The seminar is designed for 7th to 12th grade students and their parents or guardians. Attendees will discover the benefits of a career in healthcare; find out which classes should be taken in high school; get advice on choosing a college; and learn financial aid tips.
The seminar is being offered by Summit Health's School Liaison Programs. The Summit Health School Liaison Programs links students, guidance counselors, teachers and community members to health care career exploration activities.
