WAYNESBORO, Pa. – Press Ganey Associates, Inc. has named Waynesboro Hospital a 2013 Guardian of Excellence Award winner.
The Guardian of Excellence Award recognizes top-performing facilities that consistently achieved the 95th percentile of performance in patient satisfaction.
According to Press Ganey Associates, Inc., fewer than five percent of all of their clients reach the 95th percentile and maintain that level of performance over one year. Press Ganey partners with more than 10,000 healthcare facilities, including more than half of all U.S. hospitals, to measure and improve the patient experience.
“We are proud to partner with Waynesboro Hospital,” said Patrick T. Ryan, CEO of Press Ganey. “Achieving this level of excellence reflects the organization’s commitment to delivering outstanding service and quality. Waynesboro Hospital’s efforts benefit patients and will lead to improved patient experiences.”
“This award is more evidence of the dedication and compassion that exists in the hearts of our staff,” said Melissa Dubrow, chief operating officer of Waynesboro Hospital. “We take patient satisfaction very seriously, and will continue to focus on that as we move forward.”
