Greencastle students receive health career scholarships
GREENCASTLE, Pa. - Caption: Don Barnhart (left), chair of Greencastle-Antrim Endowment, presented $2,000 scholarships from the Greencastle-Antrim Endowment to (left to right) Cory Bontrager, Mariah Martin and Nakita Gearhart during the high school's annual academic awards ceremony on May 28. Bontrager plans to attend Slippery Rock University to purse a degree in pharmacy. Martin plans to attend Eastern Mennonite University to pursue a degree in midwifery. Gearhart plans to attend Juniata College to pursue a degree of orthopedic physician assistant. This was the second year Greencastle-Antrim Endowment offered this scholarship.
The first recipients of the Greencastle-Antrim Endowment scholarship, Gregory Boyer, Ethan Koons, and Ammarah Spall also received $2,000 scholarship renewals this year from the Endowment.
