Chambersburg Family Care welcomes county native to practice
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Chambersburg Family Care, an affiliate of Summit Health, is pleased to welcome Nurse Practitioner Paula Hamilton to their practice.
Having grown up in what she describes as “the most beautiful place on Earth,” Hamilton always knew she wanted to stay in the area and help others.
“I’m really happy to see that the physicians here take a ‘patient first’ philosophy and realize that as providers, we need to be concerned not only about our own patients, but each and every person who visits our practice,” she said.
Patients don’t always realize that their primary care provider can help in a variety of situations, such as newborn and women’s gynecological care, Hamilton said.
“I’ve always sought out jobs that had variety to them, so I’m excited to join this good group of people and begin working with families – from the oldest to the youngest members – and help them with their care,” she said.
A graduate of Pennsylvania State University, Hamilton previously worked at Keystone Health as a nurse practitioner and as a registered nurse at Chambersburg Hospital.
Outside of work, family comes first, but Hamilton enjoys many hobbies including listening to Bob Dylan music, quilling, sewing, quilting and stamp collecting.
Chambersburg Family Care is accepting new patients. The practice is located in Summit Health Center – Building 2, 757 Norland Ave., Suite 203.
