Bicyclists support local breast cancer programs


CHAMBERSBURG, Pa.– Members of the Franklin County Cyclists (FCC) made donations totaling $5,600 to Rhonda Brake Shreiner Women’s Center and the Cumberland Valley Breast Care Alliance following the group’s 3rd Annual Franklin County Metric Century, held on June 22.

This is the third annual ride, and the group’s third donation to support breast cancer programs in the Franklin County area.
More than 160 bicyclists road through Franklin County on routes totaling 12, 18, 42, and 62 miles to benefit the two area breast cancer programs. Next year’s event will be held on June 21, 2014. Visit for more information.
