Bank donates to breast cancer patients
CHAMBERSBURG, Pa. – Proceeds from the First National Bank of Mercersburg’s recent fundraiser were donated to the Rhonda Brake Shreiner Women’s Center in Chambersburg to help provide materials to recently diagnosed breast cancer patients.
The Rhonda Brake Shreiner Women’s Center provides a tote bag containing books about breast cancer, nutrition, how to keep track of appointments, and other information. The bags also contain expandable folders to help patients keep their care files organized, as well as hand-made gifts from community members.
This is the third year in a row that branches of the First National Bank of Mercersburg held ribbon sales and dress down days, beginning in October, to raise money for the Rhonda Brake Shreiner Women’s Center.
