What is TeleBurn?

TeleBurn is a service provided by Lehigh Valley Health Network that connects to Chambersburg and Waynesboro Hospital’s emergency department doctors with specialists at Lehigh Valley Regional Burn Center.

How does TeleBurn work?

TeleBurn allows doctors to collect input from specialists at Lehigh Valley Regional Burn Center using the Internet and a digital camera.   Your doctor will use the system to send images of burn injuries to the specialists at Lehigh Valley Burn Center. The burn specialists will review and assess the images and then discuss treatment options with your doctor.

Does TeleBurn protect my privacy?

Your privacy and security is very important to us, and we have taken all measures necessary to
protect your privacy.  TeleBurn assessments meet all applicable privacy and security regulations outlined by the Health Insurance Portability and Protection Act (HIPAA) and the Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act (HITECH Act).
