Summit Palliative Care’s program is designed to help relieve the pain and stress of seriously ill patients. Our family-focused program delivers care with compassion, respect and dignity so we can improve your comfort and quality of life. Palliative Care can be provided at any time during a person’s illness.
- Care planning - help you determine treatment goals and design a care program for you
- Treating the total person - support your physical, emotional, and spiritual care
- Locating needed resources - help you find community resources upon your leave of the hospital
- Simplifying communication - coordinating communication about your care with the health care providers involved in your treatment

Palliative Care services are provided by our Palliative Care physicians and are billed as a physician visit.
Our team provides care for anyone with a chronic or advanced disease - regardless of life expectancy. The staff includes health care providers, care coordinators, social workers and a spiritual coordinator.
