What is Fluoroscopy?

Fluoroscopy technology allows doctors to see real-time, moving x-ray pictures inside your body.

Fluroscopy is used for diagnosis and treatment. It can been used for:

• Digestive system imaging - barium swallows, barium enemas
• Orthopaedic surgery
• Angiography (looking at blood vessels)
• PICC (peripherally inserted central catheter) placement
• Urological surgery
