CT or CAT Scan (Computed Tomography)
What is a CT or CAT Scan (Computed Tomography)?
CT scanning is a special x-ray, with the help of a high-tech computer, that can produce pictures of the inside of the body. These special x-ray images can provide clearer pictures with more details than traditional x-rays.
Summit Health's 64-slice computerized tomography (CT) scanners allow for thinner slices and images, and faster scanning than previous scanners.
