Facts

  • Higher survival rate than any other cancer
  • Age is the strongest risk factor – men over age 50
  • The most common cancer in men, no matter your race or ethnicity
  • See a doctor regularly for early detection and preventative care

Prevention

  • Eat healthy –eat foods rich in antioxidants
  • Move more – at least 30 minutes a day
  • Maintain a healthy weight
  • Have an annual blood test called a prostate-specific antigen (PSA) screening starting at age 50
