If you have health insurance, we can work with your health plan to verify your portion of the payment.

If you're uninsured, we offer discounts and payment plans.  Patients who qualify for the Summit Care program can receive discounts from 25% - 100%.

If you are not able to pay your account in full, we offer payment plans and Financial Assistance.  

Medical costs are often unanticipated and not all costs are covered by insurance. Summit Health can help you pay your bill with these payment options:

Summit Care Program 

Discounts are available based on need.  Patients qualify for this financial assistance through an application process.  Patients may be eligible for discounts from 25 % to 100 % . Learn more about the Summit Care Program.

Prompt Pay Discount - Uninsured

If you don't have insurance, or if you receive a service that is not covered, we offer a discount if you pay within 30 days.  The discount is based on if your balance is
below:

• $10,000 - 20% 
• $10,000 and over - 35%

Payment Plans

If you are unable to pay your hospital bill in full, we offer no-interest payment plans.

Veterans' Benefits

If you are an uninsured veteran and come to the Emergency Room for an urgent and unexpected condition, the Veteran's Administration may pay for the care you received.  Notify us that you are an uninsured veteran, and we will send your Emergency Room bill to the Veteran's Administration. 

Medical Assistance Application Help

To help you in applying for medical assistance, we partner an agency named "HRSI" or "Healthcare Receivable Specialists, Inc."

Prescription Assistance Program

This program helps patients who can't afford prescription drugs.  For an application or more info, contact us by email at volrecp@summithealth.org or call (717) 267-7142.
