Residents of Franklin County will begin receiving telephone calls from the Franklin & Marshall College Center for Opinion Research in late October and early November as part of a Community Health Needs Assessment.

Dr. Michael Patti (far left), a member of the Chambersburg Knights of Columbus, Council 1426, presented a savings bond to Shay Allison Woodring, daughter of Jessica and Phillip Woodring, of Waynesboro, in recognition of Shay being the first baby born at Chambersburg Hospital on October 12 – Columbus Day. Shay was born at 4:25 a.m. weighting 7.4 lbs. and is 20 inches in length.
