Residents of Franklin County will begin receiving telephone calls from the Franklin & Marshall College Center for Opinion Research in late October and early November as part of a Community Health Needs Assessment.

October 16th Dr. Walt Larimore was the featured speaker at the annual spirituality and health seminar hosted by Summit Health and Menno Haven Retirement Communities.

Dr. Michael Patti (far left), a member of the Chambersburg Knights of Columbus, Council 1426, presented a savings bond to Shay Allison Woodring, daughter of Jessica and Phillip Woodring, of Waynesboro, in recognition of Shay being the first baby born at Chambersburg Hospital on October 12 – Columbus Day. Shay was born at 4:25 a.m. weighting 7.4 lbs. and is 20 inches in length.

As part of Lean concepts, officials with the Waynesboro Medical Office Building have continued to make improvements based on patient feedback.

A sleep technician at the Chambersburg Hospital Sleep Center has found a way to brighten her young patients' experiences during sleep studies.
