Chambersburg Hospital’s Hennessy Home is getting a new roof and some other needed repairs thanks in part to support from the Cottage Pub and Restaurant’s Cottage Open Golf Tournament.

Certified Fund Raising Executives (CFRE) International recently announced that Deborah Strong, Director of Development for Summit Health has received recertification as a Certified Fund Raising Executive.

Registration is still open for Camp SuperLungs, a free summer day camp for children with asthma.

Often, the points earned by student athletes on the field can be attributed to hours of strength and conditioning training off the field. In an effort to boost their athletic programs, the Chambersburg Area School District is teaming up with Results Therapy & Fitness, an affiliate of Summit Health.

The Cottage Open Golf Tournament will take place Sun., July 26, at Whitetail Golf Course, 11573 Blairs Valley Road, Mercersburg. The tournament will begin with a Shotgun Tee Off at 7:30 a.m. Lunch will follow.
