Waynesboro Hospital's Laboratory received accreditation from The Commission on Laboratory Accreditation of the College of American Pathologists (CAP), following an on-site inspection.  The laboratory, under the direction of C. Dennis Miller, MD, was recognized for providing quality laboratory services.

During the CAP accreditation process, inspectors examine the laboratory's records and quality control procedures, staff qualifications, the laboratory's equipment, facilities, safety program and record, as well as the overall management of the laboratory.
