Greencastle-Antrim Endowment Scholarship

Greencastle Antrim Endowment Scholarship

The Greencastle-Antrim Endowment, a component of Summit Endowment, offers scholarships to one of three graduating seniors from Greencastle-Antrim High School who are pursuing a degree in health care.  

Scholarship applications will be available for download in November of each year. 

Requirements

To be eligible for one of three $2,000 scholarships, applicants must be a graduating senior from Greencastle-Antrim High School pursuing a career in health care. 

Submission Items 

  • Completed scholarship application
  • One-page explanation of future educational goals
  • Two-letters of recommendation from professional educators or community leaders
  • Official transcripts from your junior or senior years of high school 

Upcoming Deadline 

Application and other requested information must be received by March 15, 2014 by 4 pm.

Bontrager plans to attend Slippery Rock University to purse a degree in pharmacy.

Martin plans to attend Eastern Mennonite University to pursue a degree in midwifery.

Gearhart plans to attend Juniata College to pursue a degree of orthopedic physician assistant.

This was the second year Greencastle-Antrim Endowment offered this scholarship.

The first recipients of the Greencastle-Antrim Endowment scholarship, Gregory Boyer, Ethan Koons, and Ammarah Spall also received $2,000 scholarship renewals this year from the Endowment.

The Greencastle-Antrim Endowment is a component of Summit Endowment.

Boyer plans to attend Liberty University to purse a degree in medicine.

Koons plans to attend Shenandoah University to pursue a degree in pharmacy.

Spall plans to attend Hood College to pursue a degree in medicine.

This was the first year Greencastle-Antrim Endowment offered this scholarship. The Greencastle-Antrim Endowment is a component of Summit Endowment.
